Eilers & Krejik Gaming estimates that total US and Canada gaming revenue increased by 3.8 per cent year-on-year to $91.7bn in 2018.

“Gaming growth trends continued throughout the year due to both strong expansionary market growth as well as increased gaming spend across many existing properties,” the compamy stated.

“We believe a healthy macro-economic environment continues to positively influence same-store sales. In particular, the tightening labour market has resulted in both job growth and rising wages, which provides a direct push to discretionary income.”
