The first round of auctions will be held on September 4 at the PGCB’s Public Hearing Room in Harrisburg, PA. Holders of categories one, two or three are entitled to participate.

The board had already authorised up to ten category four (satellite) slot operator licenses by auction between January and April of 2018, with five auctions drawing US$127m in bids.

The successful bidders were Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association (two licenses), Stadium Casino, Mount Airy and Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment.
