The Mexican government is not ignoring the issue of illegal gaming, according to AAMA's Mike Rudowicz.
Speaking to InterGame, Rudowicz said: "The government authorised a few select individuals to have bingo parlour licensing and operate machines that look like slot machines, but really work on a bingo-type call program, with random access winners.
"However, currently there are no regulated gaming laws in Mexico that state that these machines are actually legal. The Mexican government has taken notice of how many of these gaming parlours have opened up though, and is trying to address the situation accordingly," he concluded.
