GLI and the Normalizacion y Certificacion Electronica (NYCE) are inviting the Mexican gaming industry to a meeting to discuss updating current testing standards and developing new ones for the country.

GLI and NYCE recently marked four years of working together to help bring testing standards to Mexico. The meeting of the Normalisation Committee of the Gaming and Draw Industry takes place on March 22 at NYCE’s facilities in Mexico City.

Manufacturers, operators, associations and government entities are being encouraged to attend.

“Over the last four years, we have made great strides in bringing regulatory standards to the Mexican gaming industry and this meeting will continue our efforts as we build on the firm foundation we have established,” said GLI development director for Latin America and the Caribbean Karen Sierra-Hughes.

The meeting is to focus on updating standards relating to cashless and online monitoring and control systems, as well as proposed standards for i-gaming and wireless technology.
