Employees at the three Mocha Clubs, namely Mocha Hotel Royal, Mocha Kuong Fat and Mocha Grand Dragon Hotel, as well as at the Grand Dragon Casino, will be “assigned to work at other properties of the company in Macau,” the company confirmed.

Melco is also applying to the Macau government for authorisations for three further Mocha clubs, Mocha Inner Harbour, Mocha Hotel Sintra and Mocha Golden Dragon, to continue operating after December 2025.

In 2022, Macau amended its Gaming Law, stipulating that all satellite casinos would have to be directly owned by concessionaires and shift from a revenue-sharing structure to one based on management fees by the end of 2025.
