The first of the changes resulting from expanded gaming legislation In the US state of Maryland will go into effect later this month.
Maryland casinos will be allowed to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week beginning December 27. So far, the Maryland Live! casino will be the only property taking advantage of the rule change.
Both Penn National’s Hollywood Perryville and Ocean Downs are requesting 24-hour operation at the weekend, but still plan to close at 3am during the week.
