The pace of decline for Macau casino gaming revenues has slowed.
According to a report from Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau, the market is stablising after 17 months of sharp decline. Gross gaming revenue fell 28.4 per cent in October to approximately $2.5bn. This is compared to a 33 per cent drop in the previous month.
So far in 2015, gaming revenue is down roughly 36 per cent. According to the report, Macau gaming revenue is predicted to fall by another eight per cent in 2016.
