According to the Greek Reporter, the company has refuted claims it is heading for bankruptcy.

Public relations manager Yiannis Vrachatis told Greek news agency AMNA that the casino has not requested bankruptcy protection but has reached an agreement with them.

“The consortium of the Casino of Loutraki has sent to the Court of Corinth a request to approve the agreement concerning the regulation of the debts with its creditors,” he said.

The adoption of this agreement will ensure the company continues operating and ought to safeguard the employment of over a thousand workers, he added.

The agreement is due to be discussed within the court later this week.
