Panamanian company Casinos de Latinoamérica and Spanish firm G&G Compañía Europea de Imagen y Comunicación are set to acquire Expoazar.
Among its other businesses, Casinos de Latinoamérica owns the international trade journal Casinos de Latinoamérica, while G&G owns European Casinos - The Elite.
Expoazar is the organiser of the Latin American Gaming Exhibition, the first of which was held on May 15-16 in Monterrey, Mexico.
The chairman of Casinos de Latinoamérica, Pedro Galindo, said: "The new ownership structure, with G&G acquiring an interest, will build a connection between Europe and Latin America, leading to even higher participation rates from the old continent at the show."
