Ladbrokes acquires Eastwood

Ladbrokes has acquired Eastwood Bookmakers, Northern Ireland's biggest retail betting operator, for £117.5m.

The UK bookmaker said the acquisition is expected to generate EBITDA of about £11m in the first 12 months of its ownership, with good growth forecast for the next two years.

Following the deal, Ladbrokes will have 70 shops throughout Northern Ireland, and 271 shops throughout Ireland in total.
