Ian Kovacs is joining International Slot Machines Sales to focus its sales efforts in Africa.
ISMS has seen significant growth over the last three years in all its geographical markets. Sales of pre-owned gaming equipment have been unprecedented in this difficult financial climate and managing director Sam Arnold feels that an economic downturn, while offering a challenging market to some, actually helps to drive the pre-owned market.
His clients see a great deal of merit in buying pre-owned equipment, refurbished to a high standard, which will quickly become a profit centre in their establishments.
ISMS already has a loyal customer base in Europe, and Central and Latin America, where its reputation for quality, service and competitive pricing, keeps customers coming back for more.
Lately, however, it has seen a marked increase in business from the African continent. So much so that a new regional sales manager, Kovacs, has just been appointed. Kovacs will head up the sales effort in Africa, immediately taking responsibility for existing major accounts and also ensuring that the growing number of inquiries and referrals are dealt with in a timely manner.
He joins ISMS with an impressive background in the gaming industry. He has worked in the business for 15 years, honing his craft with the likes of Aristocrat Technologies, WMS Gaming and TCS John Huxley.
