Casino operator Mohegan Sun is bidding to develop a $5bn integrated casino resort in South Korea.
President Bobby Soper told Yonhap News that the proposed property would be located near Incheon International Airport, near Seoul.
The first phase of the scheme is to include a $1.6bn resort and casino, as well as a theme park.
Soper revealed that Mohegan may seek a local partner to develop the resort.
The company is understood to be among dozens seeking a licence to develop casino properties, with just two being made available. Source: Fantini’s Gaming Report
