The US state of New Hampshire has said no to allowing casinos for the third time this session.
This time, the House voted 192 to 172 not to allow two casinos with a total of 5,000 slots and 240 table games. The vote came after last week’s close call, when SB366 nearly passed the House by a vote of 173 to 172.
It’s unlikely the issues will come up in the House again this session, with several legislators saying it’s time to move on to other issues.
