The Isle of Man government is putting the finishing touches to its second casino licence and is expected to outline the application process in the coming weeks.

In April, the government began seeking expressions of interest from developers for a casino resort complex intended to attract visitors from overseas.

The island presently has just one casino, located at the Palace Hotel in Douglas, which largely caters to local residents.

InterGaming understands that the new property is to be combined with other leisure facilities, possibly a golf course, as well as a four or five-star hotel.
