While rumours circulating earlier this month suggested that Spain's ambitious Gran Scala project had fallen through due to a lack of funding, InterGaming can confirm that the developers have secured €20m in initial funding.
International Leisure Development, the consortium behind the Las Vegas-style mega-resort that is soon to break ground in Spain, has obtained 1,700 of the 2,000 hectares necessary to carry out the project.
ILD has assured that the project is under way, but its inauguration will be delayed between two and four months because they still do not have all the necessary land for the complex.
