International Game Technology has entered into an agreement to purchase all the assets and business of Cyberview Technology for US$76m.
The Reno, Nevada-based group has also entered into a licence agreement with Cyberview to provide access to certain patents and technology not included in the asset purchase for a one-time license fee of $9m.
Upon completion of the transaction, the US operations of Cyberview will be integrated within IGT in the US. Its UK-based operation, which focuses on the development of the Cyberview business in markets outside of the US, will be integrated within IGT-UK.
