US casino games giant IGT has named Eric Berg as its new president, effective July 18.
Berg has over 25 years of experience in Fortune 500 companies in a broad range of industries and joins IGT from SunGard, where he was chief executive officer.
"As we continue to transform our organisation, improve our internal processes and move to a more distributed, global business model, I felt it was essential to add additional expertise, leadership and capabilities to IGT," said IGT CEO Patti Hart. "Eric’s strategic insight, operational intensity and global leadership are perfectly suited to help IGT navigate the next chapter of our business."
