Former Elaut man Herman Van Lishout, who recently formed his own company, GameBel, to handle the multiplayer roulette products of Slovenia-based Gold Club in Asia, the Ukraine and Africa, was at G2E Asia in Macau last week.

"I covered the Asia region for Elaut and so it was a logical step," he told InterGaming. "Gold Club felt that it needed to have the whole world covered. So far things are going very well indeed."

Van Lishout said that Gold Club was the most successful multiplayer roulette manufacturer in the world in terms of units sold.

"There are now 3,500 units out there and we are producing 700 machines a year. We are working directly with a lot of casino owners and operators. We try to get into a new market first."
