Genting Malaysia has shared its results for the quarter ending September 30, 2024, with a total revenue of RM2.75bn (US$619m).

This was a one per cent increase year-on-year against the Q3 2023 total of RM39.3m ($8.85m).

The increase was attributed to higher revenue from the leisure and hospitality businesses in the UK and Egypt from RM494.9m ($111.4m) to RM538m ($121.2m), an increase of nine per cent, due to higher volume of business.

The group also reported higher adjusted EBITDA of RM1.3bn ($294m) in 3Q 2024 as compared with RM747.6m ($168.3m) in 3Q 2023, an increase of 75 per cent.
