A UK adult gaming centre has been suspended from operating for failing to participate in a gambling harm reduction initiative and failing to have a complaints and disputes process in place.

Great Britain’s Gambling Commission (GBGC) suspended the licence of Wyke Gaming & Amusement Centre, of Hanover Square, Wyke, Bradford with immediate effect.
GBGC claimed that the operator “failed to participate in a multi operator self-exclusion scheme – an initiative allowing people who feel they are struggling with their gambling to self-exclude from one or more adult gaming centres in their area.”
It declared that the suspension would remain active “at least until the Commission has been able to verify that the licensee’s facilities are operating compliantly.”
