Fred Gabbard has been appointed senior vice president of product development operations at US gaming manufacturer WMS.
He joins the company following more than 26 years with Motorola, where he most recently served as vice president of product management for wireless networks.
In his new role, Gabbard will oversee product management and resource prioritisation, new product introductions, product life cycle management and quality across the organisation.
"Fred brings to WMS an impressive track record of accomplishment in building a consumer product focused development management organisation," said Orrin Edidin, president of WMS. "His depth of experience in product development management complements the highly creative and innovative talents that exist in WMS’ development groups.
