Despite the tragic and horrific event at the weekend, the atmosphere at G2E Las Vegas was both defiant and upbeat over the last two days.

It seemed as though the gaming industry upon which this Nevada city was built was saying: "It's business as usual despite the horror and the loss. Evil will not win the day."
The aisles were full and business was undoubtedly being done. There was also a feeling that the show was larger than it has been in recent years. The Sands Convention Centre hosts the final day of the expo today.
There will be a full report from the show in the November edition of InterGaming.
