International Slot Machine Sales enjoyed another successful G2E Las Vegas show in November, founder and managing director Sam Arnold told InterGaming.

"It was successful for us in a sense that it gives us an opportunity to see of all of our customers under one roof at one time from all over the Americas, including Latin and Central America," he explained. "We closed quite a few deals at G2E this year that were deals instigated at SAGSE Argentina."

Many prospective clients at the show were unable to commit to purchases because they were coming to the end of their yearly budgets, a problem Arnold believes will be removed when the event is moved to October from next year.

"Moving to the start of October will be better us and for everybody because then you have the whole of October, November and the first two weeks of December to close and complete the deals you start at G2E," he said. "It is a bit of a struggle after the show at the end of the year to try and tidy up all of the sales deals we do at G2E. It would be even better if it was even earlier."

Looking ahead to the ICE totally Gaming show at London’s Earls Court, ISMS expects to conduct a great deal of business.

"As a company we have invested a lot of money into the London ICE show because we feel it is a good opportunity to meet with all of our key clients from this part of the world," Arnold continued. "We use it as an opportunity to begin the year - people are always fresh, revived after the Christmas break and people are ready to do business.

"My expectations are that our sales people will be doing business and closing deals, not just discussing potential deals. We’re not going to be sitting around talking to customers about this, that and the other; we will be very busy closing deals."
