The entire sales team of the GPI group will be present at G2E in Las Vegas to demonstrate the widest ever displayed range of RFID chips and applications in both 125KHz and 13.56MHz technologies

GPI provides the widest range of value chips, jetons and plaques under its three major brands, Paulson (clay chips), B&G (injection moulded, laminated and sublimated chips) and Bud Jones (injection moulded chips). Over the years, more than 100 casinos worldwide have purchased RFID jetons, plaques or chips, including the newest casino resorts such as Foxwoods Resort Casino and Four Winds Casino in the US or Casino Melincue in Argentina.

Among the products that will be displayed is a new range of 13.56MHz reading devices that will be demonstrated on the RFID pit. All these devices have been developed in collaboration with Progressive Gaming to facilitate the adoption of RFID by casinos with practical and reliable equipment.

Particularly highlighted will be the just released 13.56MHz TableTop Authenticator that provides a swift and easy way for the dealer to authenticate and value the chips at the table, along the lines of  its 125KHz version. Built-in the table top with its antenna nicely concealed under the layout in front of the dealer, this self-contained device includes a display that indicates in a split second the quantity and total value of the chips placed on the screening area.

Aimed at preventing the introduction of fraudulent chips at the tables, it also allows for the pit boss to verify transactions while securing and accelerating payments.
