Fournier will be attending G2E Las Vegas, which will take place in Vegas from November 17-19.

"G2E is one of the leading exhibitions in the industry, renowned for setting the trend for the oncoming year," said Javier Berasategui, export director of Naipes Heraclio Fournier. "During this trade fair we meet mainly our customers from the US, Canada, central America and the Carribean and to a lesser degree South America and Europe."

Fournier playing cards, 100 per cent plastic and cardboard, will again be the stars of Fournier’s product portfolio. The successful Security Baccarat Shoe, unveiled almost a year ago at G2E 2008, will also be showcased again this year at Fournier’s booth.

"We are very glad to see the shoe has had such good acceptance in the market," Berasategui said. "The objective of the shoe is to increase the security at baccarat-punto banco games. The shoe recognises the card through an optical reader when drawn. Thanks to the internal software the shoe determines who the winner of the game is. This way the risk of losses due to possible cheating or mistakes made is remarkably reduced.

"More than 1,000 units are in operation today around the World. However, Macau, the temple of baccarat, is our main market."
