MGM, Caesars, Genting and Kezner are said to have already completed due diligence ahead of the licensing procedure, which the Cyprus government expects to be completed by the end of the year. The bill is expected to be approved this month.

Limassol and Larnaca have been suggested as potential destinations if the project gets the go-ahead.
