The first casino operating licence in Russia’s Sochi gambling zone has been issued.
It has gone to LLC Domain, a company established by the Singapore-based construction company Silverron International last year. LLC Domain CEO Mikhail Danilov has business interests in the Altai and Primorye gambling zones and shares in two Russian bookmakers, Star Bet and Bingo Boom.
No other applications from casino operators have yet been received. The soft launch of the first casino in Sochi is expected to be held at the end of this year, with the full-scale opening planned for the beginning of 2017.
