The largest producer of multi-player automated table games in Slovenia, Electroncek (Interblock), has around two-thirds of its sales of electronic casino games in the street market.
In an interview with InterGaming last week, the company reported that its main business is with arcades and slots halls on a global basis, but with an increasing amount of business in the US, Australia and Asia, where most of the gaming industry is in casinos, then it expected the percentages to move to between 65 and 35 per cent in favour of casinos in the next couple of years.
Elektroncek is in the latter stages of completing licensing procedures for Quebec, having already licences for three other Canadian provinces, British Colombia, Alberta and Ontario. Its Nevada licence is expected to be approved before the end of this year.
