Alan Pedelty of Aberdeen in Scotland became the Gala Croupier of the Year in Bradford, UK, last month, winning £1,500.

Andy Goram, marketing director of Gala Casinos, said: "This was a real opportunity for the croupiers to flash their skills in front of our scrutinising judges.

"The event took on a cut-throat atmosphere with finalists bringing supporters from across their regions to watch them battle it out for the title."
