The Cambodian government has stated it will make more than US$16m in tax revenues this year from the 24 legally operating casinos in Cambodia, an increase of nearly 20 per cent compared with last year's revenues.

According to official statistics taxes collected by Cambodian government from casinos last year totalled $3m.
