Brazil’s Senate will take up Bill 186, which would create regulations for land-based casinos, bingo parlours, lottery games and online sports betting, on December 7.

Pressure has been put on Senate President Renan Calheiros to hear the bill in December to avoid any delays with seasonal parliamentary breaks, SBC News reported.
Estimated annual gaming revenues in Brazil could be as much as US$17bn.
