Keith Smith, CEO of Boyd Gaming, has announced that plans are underway to construct a new casino in Henderson, Nevada, to be called Cadence Crossing.
The new venue will be built on the same site as the company’s Jokers Wild Casino, with construction expected to begin later this year, to be completed by 2026.
On the company’s Q2 earnings call, Smith said: “We’re opening what I call a modest investment with the square footage and the slots and the food outlets that I described, but clearly with the opportunity to expand it.”
It is planned that Cadence Crossing will feature a 10,000sq.ft casino with 450 slot machines with multiple dining options and live entertainment.
