The check was received by NIGA chairman Ernie Stevens at the tribal leaders reception on the show floor.

BMM's executive vice president of operations, Travis Foley, said: “The cheque was provided through BMM's Next Generation initiative, our tribal philanthropic programme dedicated to providing access to financial and educational resources for Native American youth.

“BMM is committed to making a positive difference to Native American communities facing challenges, and we are very pleased to be able to assist Spirit of Sovereignty in this way."

Spirit of Sovereignty is a charitable organisation that supports individuals and tribes to achieve self-determination through educational opportunities and positive children's programming.
