Gaming testing laboratory BMM Testlabs has appointed Gene Chayevsky as its new executive vice president for Europe and South America.

Chayevsky has over 25 years of executive management and investment banking experience and served as chairman and chief executive officer of gaming manufacturer Cadillac Jack.

BMM president and CEO Martin Storm said: "Europe and South America are both fast-developing gaming regions with many countries already regulated, and potentially many more on the way, as governments look to the benefits of regulated gaming industries. We are also seeing the merger of online and land-based business and many companies looking to international opportunities for growth."

"To meet the increasing demand for BMM's testing and certification services, we continue to make significant investments in these regions. We are very pleased to welcome Gene to our executive team as executive vice-president for Europe and South America."

Chayevsky said: "I am really pleased to join the BMM executive team and, having been a customer in the past, really appreciate the quality and culture of the company. We are seeing rapid growth across our European and South American regions, specifically in the areas of online, sports betting and security. By unifying our business and technical management teams we will continue to maintain the highest level of independent quality testing in the region. I am very pleased to be joining BMM at this very exciting time of growth for the company."
