Neil Bluhm, the billionaire who operates several US casinos through his Rush Street Gaming, has joined the Japanese casino race.
Bluhm is looking to build a casino in Osaka. He joins several prospective Japan casino developers, including Las Vegas Sands, Wynn, MGM Resorts, Caesars, Genting, SJM, Melco Crown and a number of Japanese companies ranging from pachinko operators to industrial conglomerates.
Japan’s Diet is expected to enact a casino bill soon with casinos likely to be allowed in Tokyo and Osaka and a number of regional cities.
