The lady in question is actually the Hyper X Esports Truck - better known as Big Betty. It will form the main stage for the professional players and keynote speakers who will appear at the world’s biggest gaming show.

Show organisers Clarion Gaming confirmed this week that it had secured the customised 21m long classic American truck to form the centrepiece for the esports presentations at the show.

When opened out, Big Betty is 12m deep and has a rooftop VIP area and players’ lounge with 20 gaming stations.

Will Harding, head of esports at Clarion Gaming, said: “Our job as event organisers is to explain and demystify esports  and in the process helping to inform the gaming and betting market about the scale of the esports wagering opportunity.

“Essentially, Big Betty is an arena on wheels, unfolding into a fully equipped esports studio and main stage, enabling us to reflect the culture, theatre and appeal of the esports phenomenon which will be explained, courtesy of the keynote speakers.”
