Leading casino operator Genting UK has claimed an award at the 2018 GamblingCompliance Global Regulatory Awards in association with GambleAware.
Nigel Harvey, head of anti-money laundering at Genting UK, walked away winner of the Head of AML/MLRO of the Year award for land-based operations.
The award recognises an individual that has taken measures to align their company in a proactive manner through the various AML Directives set by regulators in the markets and jurisdictions in which their company operates.
According to the judges, Harvey was selected as the winner because he went beyond what is legally required of him and was highly motivational and effective in his work.
