Following an appeal by American Gaming Association CEO Bill Miller, US President Donald Trump has promised to reinvestigate the possibility of opening up his Paycheck Protection Program to casinos that were omitted from the system.

The system is designed to save jobs at companies with under 600 employees. There is a long-standing Small Business Administration rule that bars aid to companies that retain a third or more of their revenues from gambling.

Miller said it was a "relic" of an earlier time. He asked for the President to intervene on behalf of the US casinos, says Fantini’s Gaming Report.
