AMD’s latest embedded solution, the Ryzen V2000 processor, has been unveiled by the company.

The processor will deliver double the cores, up to twice the performance-per-watt and an estimated 15 per cent IPC uplift over the previous generation.

Rajneesh Gaur, vice-president and general manager, said: “We continue to deliver high performance embedded processors with this series.

“Pairing the Zen 2 CPU cores with Radeon graphics we are now providing our customers with a new class of performance and power efficiency with 7nm technology that enables them to implement unique designs that target their applications.”
