UK-based computing platforms specialist has opened a new US subsidiary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Quixant USA is located at 1525 E Sunset Road, in what has come to be known as the ‘gaming triangle’ on the southern perimeter of the airport. Amit Sharma has been appointed vice president of sales to head up the US sales operations.
Nick Jarmany, managing director and CEO of Quixant, said the move was a "major milestone" for the company.
"The US is a very important market for Quixant and we have been working towards establishing a proper local presence for some time," he said. "Quixant USA is the newest addition to the Quixant family of companies, joining our existing subsidiaries in Taiwan and Italy and head office in Cambridge, UK."
Group sales director and president of Quxiant USA, Gary Mullins, said establishing a company in Las Vegas is the "realisation of a dream" and enables the organisation to form "even closer relationships" with customers in the US.
