After years of stop-start progress, Brazil could be on the cusp of transforming its gaming landscape with the legalisation of land-based casinos.
Currently, bill (PL) 2,234/2022, which proposes the establishment of land-based casinos across the country, along with the legalisation of bingo halls, horserace betting and the traditional lottery game jogo do bicho, is awaiting a vote in the Senate, which is expected to take place presently.
