OFCOM reports that 71 per cent of UK adults own a smartphone, while 54 per cent of households have a tablet. Mobile devices are today at the heart of consumers’ digital lives and i-gaming brands and the affiliates promoting them are responding to the mobile shift at both a product and a marketing level.

Consumers are spending more of their digital time using smartphones and tablets. Indeed, 2015 was a tipping point for the UK market, where for the first time adults’ mobile consumption (51.5 per cent) exceeded time spent on laptops and desktop computers (48.5 per cent), according to eMarketer.
