The first will see Promotora Latinoamericana de Entretenimiento equipped with the supplier’s retail products through its Mexican licence. Founded in 2005, PLE runs sports betting facilities in land-based casinos, restaurants, bars and hotels in over 80 locations, enjoying 30 per cent share of the market.

In the second, Argentina’s largest operator, Spingol, and its B2B business, Spin Entertainment, will receive an online platform that includes SBTech’s in-play product, which offers more than 25,000 monthly events.

The deal also includes the supplier’s Fast Market offering, which allows users to bet on what will happen in the next minute of a sports event and watch the results settled immediately, cash-out facilities and live streaming.

Licenced in Missiones, north-east Argentina, Spin Entertainment and its consumer-facing brand Spingol work across Latin America, with the latter being an official sponsor of the Copa America football tournament.

SBTech’s retail platform supports various EPOS hardware systems as well as customisable business processes, such as Betshop cashier, cash and voucher management, membership card, reporting, shift operations and monitoring, offer printing and network administration. It is designed to deliver an engaging gaming experience in both over the counter EPOS-based systems and self-service betting terminals.

“We’re delighted to have teamed up with both PLE and Spin Entertainment to deliver our products into Mexico and Argentina, which will significantly expand our reach in Latin America,” said SBTech CEO Itai Zak. “Our solutions will provide them both with the cutting-edge technology to entertain their customers and develop additional revenue streams with the very latest ante-post and in-play opportunities.”
