While the US market for i-gaming may be stumbling slowly towards an end to “prohibition”, American companies are not slow to take up opportunities elsewhere, said Jon Stuckey, account manager for JT Global.

“We are a first-time exhibitor at G2E,” he said. “We are reacting to the number of US-based internet gaming providers who are licensed in the Channel Islands, led by Alderney. We are hosting many of them with our data centres located in both Guernsey and Jersey.”

Ostensibly then to promote JT with an appearance at G2E, Stuckey and his team were joined by the new director of e-commerce for Alderney eGambling, Susan O’Leary. Both O’Leary and Stuckey reported that they had met with a great number of interested people at the show and the event had “offered many leads.
