Nick Hares has joined Clarion Events' gaming division as conferences event manager.

Reporting to head of content for gaming, Ewa Bakun, Hares will have responsibility for delivering EiG, ICE Conferences, GiGse and WrB.

The law graduate joins from Wilmington, where he produced a range of international events in the UK, Europe and Asia.              

Kate Chambers, portfolio director at Clarion, said: "Nick was the stand-out candidate from a long list of applicants.

“He has a great level of experience organising prestigious events in a number of sectors both in the UK and on the international stage. He is a valuable addition to the Clarion team, and will play a central role ensuring that we continue to produce high calibre and engaging events."
