Amusements should embrace new technologies, says Euromat.

THE gaming machine industry must establish the right to operate with contactless payments or have its machines effectively lose an entire generation of potential players. That was the conclusion of a workshop held during the Euromat Summit in Brussels.

The UK’s Jason Frost, who took over the presidency of the organisation on the following day, led the discussion, assisted by Euromat secretary general Kieran O’Keeffe and Dan Iliovici, president of the National Gambling Office of Romania.
