Having launched its QXi-200 gaming controller at the ICE Totally Gaming show in London earlier this year, the UK's Quixant is bringing its cutting-edge technology to the Latin American market.

Speaking at the recent ELA gaming show in Mexico, Gary Mullins, the company’s sales director, told InterGaming that a number of companies have already agreed to conduct trials of its products.

"This is the board that we launched at the ICE show and have also launched in the Spanish market," he said. "It has always been our plan this year to bring it to the Latin American market, so this show is really our first toe in the water.

"Because our product is designed for purpose and very integrated, it naturally means that it is a very cost-effective product compared to other products on the market and, in this market in particular, clients are very cost sensitive. Fortunately, we have a policy of selling directly to the market and not through distributors, so we can offer the best price for this kind of technology, which is the very latest technology available."
