THE amusement market in eastern Europe was once rich, but of late seems to have lost its way.

In an industry where redemption games and FECs, for example, can be counted upon to keep cash flowing in many territories, it seems this is a more reluctant market. InterGame put this to Karoly Buzas, owner of Games World Romania, for his take on it. “Family entertainment centres are not regulated in Romania, for example, and, in my opinion, redemption games are not so popular,” he said.
