IT is almost as though the entire industry in the US has been in suspended animation for a year, and whether a risky early reawakening is on the cards, with a wake-up kiss from various state governors wilting before commerce’s demands for unlocking the chains, remains to be seen.

The approximately 1,200,000 coin machines in the American amusement industry’s family entertainment centres, arcades, games rooms, LBE venues, street routes and bar-arcades are slowly switching back on.
