InterGame editor Lee Wild looks at the complex continent of Asia, finding out the state of the market and what is popular in this varied land.

Japan

As the world’s largest continent, lived in by more than half of the world’s population, Asia is understandably important to the coin-op world. The continent features some of the world’s oldest civilisations, which differ greatly from each other and make it hard to make sweeping generalisations for such an interesting region. The principal markets of this continent are China, India, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, with each presenting their own cultural, economic and legal challenges for the amusement world.
